This mid-nineteenth century structure underwent a complete frame-up restoration, preserving the look and feel of traditional New England architecture. A main level master bedroom addition, interior redesign and energy-efficient construction details opened and transformed the structure into a 21st Century, year-round Vermont home. Preserved barns, outbuildings, mature trees and a series of ponds married the original white clapboard house to a natural landscape that includes sweeping meadows and grand views of the surrounding mountains.
